SECTIONS

Professional work within Slovenian Chemical Society is carried out in various sections, organizing symposia and conferences, meetings and discussions about actual problems, courses, seminars, and lectures, participation on different events etc. Section are established on the proposal of the manging committee at the Assembly meetings where they can also be abolished. Each section elects its own chairman and secretary.

COMMISSIONS

To be more effective, the Society establish commissions elected by the board for a four-year term. They are governed by the chairman and are responsible to the Board. At the time being there are two commissions:

  • Commission for Chemical Education
  • Commission for Chemical Nomenclature and Terminology
