Word of the President of the Society

Welcome to the website of the Slovenian Chemical Society.

It is my great pleasure to welcome you in the introductory part of this profile page. Here we briefly present the Slovenian Chemical Society and its activities in section, committees and branches. The information here is offered for the benefit of 900 members of the Society and in particular to our future members and colleagues from around the world, with which the co-operation has intensified. We would like to make a special appeal to the students of chemistry and related fields and also to the colleagues in the industry. The Society is especially eager to establish a close collaboration between colleagues from the academic sphere and those from the industry with a view of knowledge transfer thus enabling quicker progress of the Slovenian chemical industry. One of the important events for the meeting of chemists of all profiles and for the exchange of information is the annual meeting “Slovenian Chemical Days”.
